Annual health examinations

For all animals, we recommend a full health check at least once a year. For most animals this would be at the same time as the annual vaccinations.

In some cases, such as with older, geriatric animals or very young animals, we may like to see your pet more frequently.

Health checks are especially important as animals can't tell us if they have discomfort and can be naturally very stoical about showing signs of pain or discomfort at home (for example, toothache or dental disease).

One of our vets will perform a full clinical exam during the health check as well as asking you a few key questions. Health checks are a good opportunity for us to assess all aspects of your pet's health as well as giving you a chance to ask any questions you might have. We can also give you the best, most up to date advice regarding all aspects of preventative care, including worming, de-fleaing and diet.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you have any further queries at all.
